Thrive Family member Alex Farrara is gonna be skating around the country this summer with his homies from The Worble. So the day before he left we decided to grab a 30 rack of beer and hit the park. Some bad decisions were made and some good footage came of it. Check it out.

Some of you might know Thrasher Magazine and their submission style photo section “Stoke Of The Day”, and if you didn’t know then now you do. The photo we posted a few weeks ago of Alex doing an ollie over a rail to drop got up on that shit, so go check it out and leave a nice comment… or a mean comment, either way we’ll appreciate it.

Thrive is now available in two more Bronx shops:

First up is Indigenous: Located on 1510 Hutchinson River Pkwy East in Throggs Neck. The place is a little hard to find, But here’s a map for ya’s (X marks the spot)

The shop is small and kinda bare bones, it ain’t no skate fashion boutique, which means it really focuses on skateboards. If you need a deck, wheels, trucks or just a good place to chill then this shop is for you. Oh yea, and they happen to have started as a board company just like us. So go give them some love.

Second we have The Complex: Located at 170 west 233rd Street in Riverdale.

It would be unfair to say that this shop started because another went out of business, but at least for us thats how it went down. Another shop we were in, Mosaic, has recently vacated their shop and it’s unsure whats gonna happen to them, but their remaining stock seems to have ended up in the hands of their homies who now run The Complex.

Thrive hasn’t been to the shop yet but it seems that they’ve got some good stuff happening.

We were filming the other day and Alex took a fall… thats really all there is to it.

on a side note, we ran out of decks last week but we’re gonna have a brand new shipment in on Monday, so you can start ordering again! boom.

Granted that the last photo, and first photo, for Photo Friday was over a month ago… we’re gonna try and be more consistent now that the weather is warming up. Either way, here’s a photo for you.

a couple months ago we hit up Tribeca skatepark with Jackson for a couple hours, forgot about the footy… but now here’s an edit.

Before last Sunday some of the Thrive Family had never met and that doesn’t sound very family-like, regardless of how dysfunctional yours may be.  So we got most of the family (Alex Farrara, Nico Fernandez, Jackson Rourke, Stefen Pompee, Charlie Harden, Max Johl and Leon Toppin) to get their asses to Peekskill, NY for a little get together at 2nd Nature Skatepark. The park is fun and well laid out. It’s a good mix of street and transition, so everyone can get a piece of the action. They have a well stocked shop (they actually have two shops, one in Mamaroneck, NY) and upstairs is sick mini ramp… shit you can just check it all out in this video…

Yesterday the bulk of the Thrive Family hit up 2nd Nature skatepark in Peekskill NY and soon there will be some video to go along with this photo.

Alex is gracing us again with a video he is in. This time it’s a full length video, that’s been 4 years in the making, by his hometown crew The Worble. Alex’s spot begins at just about 9:06, but obviously you should watch the whole video cause everyone’s spot is sick.
